Day 46 - Gideon

Read: Judges 6:14- 7:7

Reflect: Have you ever heard of a guy named Gideon? And did you know that he is in the hall of faith? In this story Gideon is trusted by God to lead an army to defeat the Midianites Gideon gathers 23,000 people to start and ends up fighting with 300 people Gideon had faith in trusting God to bring victory to the Israelites in Israel

So Gideon was a judge and leader of the Israelites who lived during a time when Israel was oppressed by the Midianites. One day, an angel appeared to him and told him that he was chosen by God to save Israel. Gideon was hesitant, but after receiving several signs from God, he believed and gathered an army to fight against the Midianites. However, God instructed him to reduce his army to only 300 men, and they defeated the Midianites with God's help. Gideon then became a judge and ruled Israel for 40 years.
