Day 23 - The Boy with the Loaves & Fish

Ayden Keeton

Read: Luke 9:10-17

Reflect: Faith is a concept of trusting something you can’t see. Think of when you sit in a chair at home or school, you don’t worry about the chair breaking under your weight, you have faith that the chair will hold you. In this passage, the disciples have no more than 5 loaves of bread and two fish to feed the crowd of people which had over 5,000  people within it. Jesus blessed the food, and divided it between the twelve disciples to give out to the crowd. After everyone had had their fill, there were still 12 baskets left over.

Respond: As you read this passage, think about how faith in Christ can help you do things that may seem impossible to you. Pray and ask God to show you ways to remain faithful even when things seem impossible.
